Our 86 guestrooms and 4 minisuites are tastefully furnished with individual care and attention, so as to cater to every need and comfort.

All guestrooms are equipped with all modern conveniences, like:
Card operated door, double insulated exterior windows, ambient low voltage lighting, hand-ironed laundry delivered in wooden baskets with same evening turndown service, air-condition, in-room electronic safe,direct dial phones with voice mail messaging system, color T.V., mini bar, and almost all with private balconies and some with breathtaking view of the Acropolis.

Also Room Service is available from 08:00 a.m. till 01:00 a.m.

Our bathrooms are recently renovated to ensure every comfort and convenience, with marble floors and walls, built-in hairdryer, magnifying mirror with built-in light for a close shave or makeup, complimentary shower gel - shampoo - soap - washcloths, and of course thirsty towels every day.

Our newest amenity is our coffee shop. It is a solar construction with reinforced glass walls & ceiling, viewing our green back garden and it is shaded by pistaccio trees around which the construction nas been built.
This soothing semi-outdoor area is adjoining with the main bar and lounge, thus creating a unified elegant and spacious lounge.
You can order just about anything! From a full course meal, to a light snack, coffee, beer, drink or ice cream.

:: Location of the Herodion Hotel:
Our hotel is conveniently located in the city center, right at the foot of the Acropolis, below the Herodion theater and the "Plaka", the old quarters of the city with all it's old style charm and affordable shopping & dining. The area around the hotel is one of the most peaceful and quiet spots in the city and yet it's situated just a 15 minute walk from the central square of Syntagma and the Parliament building.

The Plaka is world renown for it's quaint little turn-of-the-century houses and busy pedestrian-only streets, where one can get away from the busy citycenter and stroll right into the past. The major streets of Plaka are filled with many shops and picturesque restaurants (or as they are called here: Tavernas) for some inexpensive Greek dining experience, most of them offering live Greek music.

Herodes Atticus theater is located at the foot of the Acropolis. During summertime it is the most "in" place to watch theater, dance and opera performances from both Greek International Companies. The cool summer breeze, the terrific performances and all of this under the breathtaking presence of the illuminated Acropolis, is quite unique.

The most convenient way to get to the hotel from the Airport & Port of Pireas, is by taxi. The fare is inexpensive. Transportation to and from the city center (for those who do not want to walk at all) is possible with the New Athens Metro and the yellow trolley buses, which can take you to many hotspots of the center like the 2 main squares of Athens: Syntagma (with the Parliament and Presidential House, also being the major shopping district) and Omonia (with the big department stores), as well as to the National Archaeological Museum.
