Each of the apartments has its own balcony or veranda with view to sea and sunset or Zeus Mountain.

This home built and decorated with respect to the Cyclades architecture style (reminding of an ancient Venetian "Pirgos" tower) is placed approximately 150m from the sandy and crystal clear beach of Aliko and the Cedar forest.

The combination of the sea, the Cedars, the colourful plants and trees along with the family hospitality make an atmosphere, placid and pleasant for everyone.

Restaurant

We have been running Faros restaurant since 1992. Trough all these years, of hard working and love for the Greek cuisine, we can say that you will enjoy the best traditional food and our hospitality.

We are using Naxos pure and delicious products in our dishes (starting with own-grown vegetables, olive oil, cheese) and daily we serve fresh fish on the grill, from the harbour’s daily haul, all prepared by Irene’s (mama) hands. When you finish your meal you can relish local drinks and desserts, Greek music at the sight of the sea, the Cedar forest and the marvellous sunset.

Pool & Bar

The pool bar opens from the dawn serving breakfast, snacks and coffees. Continue your day with fresh drinks and countless cocktails while you are enjoying the Greek sun and the marvellous sunset. We often organize special nights with Greek, Latin and Jazz music.

History

Everything here started in 1987. Elias and Irene (dad & mama), chose Aliko beach for their permanent living because of its natural beauty, the unspoiled ground and the crystal clear waters of Aliko area. After of years of living in Aliko they decided to begin something good there for everyone!

So, in 1987 we started to run the traditional studios and apartments, decorated with respect to Cyclades architecture style, to accommodate our guests.

Year by year we realised that because of the distance to the town, we should offer and something else for our guests and Aliko beach visitors.

So, in 1992 we started Faros tavern. Since that year we are working to improve our skills and knowledge concerning the Mediterranean-Greek cuisine along with the best possible services.

After that, the swimming pool+bar seemed to be necessary, and in 1999 the Pool+Bar complete Faros complex.

Today, Faros and Aliko beach make the ideal combination for really wonderful holidays!
